Human Resources AssistantClifton, NJ (On-Site - 2 Days/Week)
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: Up to $30/hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Human Resources Assistant to support day-to-day HR operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is interested in growing within Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with full-cycle recruitment including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and background checks
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HR databases
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and training sessions
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and help resolve HR-related matters
- Prepare HR documentation such as employment agreements and onboarding materials
- Support the HR Manager with hiring initiatives, policy updates, and salary administration
- Manage internal HR communications across the organization
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Assist with payroll support, including tracking attendance and leave
Qualifications:- High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
