Job Summary:
We're looking for a HR & Administration Assistant to help keep people and office operations running smoothly. This role supports recruiting, onboarding, employee records, HR programs, office administration, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and service-focused, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality.
HR/ Admin Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day HR and administrative activities, including employee documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Coordinate recruiting activities such as interview scheduling, candidate tracking, job postings, and orientations.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, new hire materials, and employee communications.
  • Maintain accurate personnel files, HR records, calendars, and electronic documents.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, appreciation events, and company activities.
  • Assist with office operations, including mail, supplies, shipping/receiving, vendors, and facilities needs.
  • Prepare purchase orders, invoices, reports, and other administrative documents using Microsoft D365.
  • Monitor and follow up on routine HR and administrative requests.
  • Provide backup support to the Administration team during vacations and absences.
  • Handle sensitive employee and company information with professionalism and confidentiality.
HR/ Admin Assistant Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of administrative, office support, HR, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Adobe experience preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS, ERP, or business systems such as Microsoft D365 is a plus.
  • Strong organization, time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Professional, dependable, friendly, and service-oriented approach.
  • Strong judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to perform routine office duties and occasionally lift or move materials up to approximately 25 pounds.
Schedule:
  • Full-time: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm or 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
Payrate:
  • $22-25/hr DOE
