Job description

Our UPMC Hamot Human Resources team has an exciting opportunity available as a Human Resources Project Coordinator! This is a regular, full-time position that primarily works daylight hours, Monday through Friday, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA.

In this role, the HR Project Coordinator plays a key part in creating a positive employee experience. They help plan and support engaging events like new hire orientation and employee experience initiatives, while serving as a helpful resource for employee questions. This position also involves preparing HR reports, maintaining important program data for the Northern HR Pod, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by answering office calls and welcoming employees and visitors who stop by the HR office.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first level support for department programs and initiatives
  • Participate in design, development, and implementation of programs and initiatives
  • Assist with department administrative support and HR reporting
  • Act as a first point of contact to guests and visitors in the HR department
  • Develops and maintains Excel Spreadsheets and creates and develops Power Point Presentation as needed
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or related field and two years of experience in project planning and/or administrative function required.
    • OR High School Diploma/GED and four years of experience in project planning and/or administrative functions required.
  • Human Resources work experience is preferred
