We are looking for a full-time Human Resource Administrator to oversee the HR function at Orvilleโ€™s. These functions will include recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee benefits, employee relations, and a role model to foster and maintain the companyโ€™s culture.  This is an excellent opportunity for a person who enjoys building relationships, exhibiting strong organization skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  •      Responsible for day?to?day HR operations โ€” the person who keeps everything organized, moving, and compliant
  •      Partner with supervisors and leadership to deliver comprehensive HR support
  •      Manage the staffing process, screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interviews with managers
  • Oversee the pre-employment onboarding process, including new hire orientation
  • Maintain confidential HR files and employee databases
  • Assist with administering benefits programs, compensation, and performance evaluations
  • Serve as an employee relations point of contact to address concerns and provide solutions
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state & federal regulations and employment laws
  • Collaborate with leadership to lead & implement best practices and optimize HR operations
  • Communicate and interpret policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  •      Facilitate the annual performance evaluation process including creating training for supervisors and staff, preparing performance evaluations
  •      Prepare and circulate employee communications

 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of HR experience (strong recruiting experience is a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •      Ability to always maintain confidentiality
  •      Effective people, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with full employee lifecycle 
  • Experience with US benefits administration
  • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is a plus
  • Understanding of HR laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  •       Ability to perform work under minimal supervision
  •      Meticulous attention to detail
  •      Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines


Education:

  • Associate or Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration or HR
  • PHR Certification preferred


Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:30 PM
  • Occasional overtime may be required

 

Salary:

  • $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
