Job Title: Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) - Senior Associate

Job Schedule: 9/80

Job Code: 41646

Job Location: Various U.S. Locations - Onsite

Program Overview:

L3Harris' Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) is designed to accelerate the development of future HR leaders through meaningful rotational experiences, enterprise exposure, leadership development, and mentorship. The program builds a pipeline of agile, business-minded HR leaders who are prepared to support complex talent priorities across L3Harris business areas. The HRLDP consists of three unique, 12-month rotations across different businesses, HR disciplines, and U.S. locations. Participants gain hands-on experience in both business-facing and functional HR roles while partnering with HR and business leaders to solve talent challenges, support employee experience, and contribute to enterprise and segment-level priorities.

Over the course of the program, you will:

  • Complete three 12-month rotations across different HR disciplines, businesses, and U.S. locations.
  • Complete at least one rotation in an HR Business Partner role, partnering with client groups to help build and execute talent strategies aligned to business priorities.
  • Gain exposure to areas such as HR business partnership, talent management, talent acquisition, employee and labor relations, total rewards, organizational effectiveness, HR operations, and workforce planning.
  • Participate in and / or lead enterprise or segment-wide projects and initiatives.
  • Take on meaningful work that supports continuous improvement in the employee experience.
  • Build relationships with HR executives, business leaders, peers, mentors, and other early-career talent across the company.
  • Gain opportunities to network with and present to senior leadership.
  • Receive structured development through training, mentorship, cohort learning, and in-role experiences aligned with accelerated leadership development.

Participants should expect to work in three different U.S. locations throughout the program. Rotations may include, but are not limited to, Melbourne, FL; Rochester, NY; Greenville, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; Camden, AR; and Clifton, NJ. Rotation assignments will primarily be determined based on business needs, talent priorities, and development opportunities. Because geographic mobility is a core component of the HRLDP experience, participants must be willing to relocate for each rotation and for the role immediately following program completion. Relocation assistance is provided for each required move.

Program Qualifications

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a master's degree with a focus in Human Resources Management, Industrial/Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field, with anticipated graduation in Spring / Summer 2027 or have completed their masters degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
  • At least one internship or three months of HR-related work experience preferred

Preferred Characteristics and Skills

  • Demonstrated interest in building a long-term career in HR leadership.
  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow through new experiences.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, coaching, and consulting skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and trust across teams, functions, and levels of the organization.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to collaborate, support others, and contribute to shared success.
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate insights.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple responsibilities, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo, connect work to the broader business context, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and matrixed environments.
