Job Summary: The Senior HRIS Analyst manages Human Resource Information systems and supports HR processes through data management, reporting, system updates, and training. The role also involves evaluating HR technologies and collaborates with the Enterprise Data Analytics team to align HR initiatives with data driven insights and strategies.Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HRIS experience required, including experience supporting enterprise HR systems in a complex organization. Seven or more years of experience and healthcare industry experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Detailed understanding of HRIS, reporting software and reporting formats in general. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other applicable software. Working knowledge of Human Resources Policies and Procedures. Working knowledge of HR employment, compensation and related laws. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal that present clear and concise information. Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with competing deadlines. Ability to be detail oriented as might be required in the examination of numerical data.Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Analyzes, designs and maintains Human Resources workflow and improves processes and data integrity, in accordance with requirements of human resources management and applicable Information Systems policies. Prepares standard and ad hoc reports for SFHS System HR Management by analyzing data to identify trends and providing actionable insights to include evaluating key performance indicators and offering both positive and constructive feedback to support informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Oversees the Employee Engagement Survey and maintains Organizational Publisher database relationships. Provides back up support and training of users on Workday system and time reporting policies. Acts as back up liaison with information services. Manages user access to HRIS system and develops and conducts related e-learning for SFHS as well as present at new management orientation. Provides end user support and training for HR information systems. Manages complex system configurations, ensuring data integrity through audits, and developing advanced reports for strategic decision making. Establishes and executes recurring audit processes to identify and correct data discrepancies before they impact payroll or reporting. Decision Making: Independent judgment in making decisions involving non-routine problems under general supervision. Working Relationships: Works with internal / external customers. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff.
