Are you an experienced HR professional ready to take on a broad, hands-on role across multiple areas of Human Resources? GSW Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will apply your HR experience across the employee life cycle while working directly with our associates and managers and contributing to HR programs and processes that support our people and organization.

What You’ll Do


Your HR experience will make an impact across the organization as you take on responsibilities that include:


  • Managing full-cycle recruitment and onboarding activities. 
  • Supporting employee relations, workplace concerns, and the consistent application of HR policies and practices. 
  • Administering and supporting benefits, compensation, leave, and related HR programs. 
  • Managing HRIS, attendance systems, employee records, and HR data. 
  • Supporting HR compliance, policy administration, audits, and recordkeeping. 
  • Coordinating employee engagement, wellness, recognition, and associate activities. 
  • Supporting training, development, and performance management initiatives. 
  • Providing payroll support and cross-functional HR coverage as needed.

What You’ll Need

 

Success in this role starts with a solid foundation of HR experience and the following qualifications:


  • Minimum of two years of broad-based, progressively responsible Human Resources experience, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits and leave administration, HRIS, compliance, and employee engagement. 
  • Experience supporting payroll processes or serving as a payroll backup preferred. 
  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable HRIS strongly preferred. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 
  • An approachable and professional communication style with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization. 
  • SHRM-CP or similar professional HR certification and/or specialized FMLA/leave administration training is a plus.
