Responsibilities

Support talent acquisition efforts by assisting with recruiting processes, including job postings, applicant tracking system (ATS) management, and interview scheduling using platforms such as Lever, iCIMS, or SAP SuccessFactors

Facilitate employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated effectively into the organization

Assist with employee evaluation processes, performance management initiatives, and training & development activities to promote continuous growth

Manage benefits administration tasks, including enrollment, changes, and compliance with regulations such as FMLA and workers' compensation policies

Maintain accurate HR data entry and records in HRIS systems like Oracle HCM or UltiPro while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information

Support HR legal compliance management by monitoring employment & labor law adherence and preparing necessary documentation for audits or regulatory reviews

Contribute to workforce management projects such as organization design, succession planning, affirmative action planning, and change management initiatives

Requirements

Proven experience in an HR department role with strong knowledge of human resources management practices and employment law in talent management

Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Paychex) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for data analysis

Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally

Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of recruiting tools like ATS platforms and social media management for talent sourcing

Ability to support employee relations efforts and conflict management strategies while fostering a positive work environment

Strong organizational skills with experience in data collection, reporting, and personnel administration

We are searching for a qualified HR assistant to provide administrative support to our Human Resources department. Reporting to the HR manager, the assistant will help with VOB's, payroll, recruiting, scheduling, and training tasks. The assistant will also act as the primary liaison between the department and other employees. Our employees are the foundation of our company, and we are committed to creating an environment where everyone can thrive. Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent

At least two years Human Resource experience required

Familiarity with company’s HR software (Paychex, MS Suite, Teams, etc.)

Experience in an administrative role

Understanding of labor laws (FMLA, ADA, and PWFA)

Desire to grow within the company

PHR Certification is a plus. Candidates with this certification will be given additional consideration.

Color vision: Assistants need to be able to see differences between colors, shades, and brightness.
