Business Development Representative
Swan Transportation Services is a rapidly expanding third-party logistics company with offices nationwide. Position Overview:
This role is responsible for driving sales efforts to grow our customer base. You will generate new business and ensure that sales targets are achieved or exceeded across all lines of business. We are seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial sales professional with experience and a passion for building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
  • Expand revenue and build relationships with new customers through prospecting and outreach
  • Generate leads via cold calling, networking, referrals, and social media.
  • Leverage inside sales techniques to engage potential clients.
  • Schedule Zoom meetings with prospects with the goal of securing future business.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through regular contact, follow-up on concerns, and issue resolution.
  • Communicate customer feedback and issues to management.
  • Meet or exceed the requirements for prospecting calls, proposals, and closing deals.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor strategic and tactical sales plans to maximize revenue, profit, and sales targets.
  • Provide detailed activity reports of sales efforts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Qualifications:
  • 1- 3 years of experience in a high-sales environment, focusing on new account acquisition (logistics preferred) or a degree in sales, business administration, or related field.
  • Intermediate proficiency in computer skills (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Reliable, flexible, and ambitious.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
