Your Role at Sephora...

At Sephora's DCs, our people are the core of our organization. As an HRG, you are more than a policy expert- you are a trusted coach, strategic partner, and problem solver, helping leaders navigate challenges, develop their teams, and create a thriving workplace culture. In this role, you will support the full spectrum of the employee life-cycle from recruitment to off-boarding, while championing fair practices, competitive benefits, and safe working conditions.  From guiding performance conversations to shaping leadership development, you'll play a key role in ensuring Sephora's workforce is engaged, supported, and set up for success. As a trusted advisor, you'll help build a culture rooted in Sephora's core values and work to drive HR excellence through process improvement, engagement, and collaboration. Your commitment to delivering an exceptional employee experience will contribute to an inclusive and high-performing work environment.

Essential Functions of the Job:

Employee Relations & Performance Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations escalations, including conducting investigations, addressing concerns, and escalating issues to HRM when necessary.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance management, disciplinary measures, and consistent application of company policies.
  • Conduct employee feedback initiatives, such as surveys, roundtables, and exit interviews, and collaborate with operations to implement actionable change plans.
  • Collaborate with Accessibility and Inclusion Generalist to address accommodation needs, facilitating a safe and effective transition back to work.
  • Partner with leaders on safety incidents, providing proper follow-through to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Represent Sephora at unemployment hearings and partner with managers as needed for case preparation.
  • Support adherence to all Sephora policies and procedures.

HR Analytics:

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with organizational requirements.
  • Utilize HR analytics to identify trends, drive decision-making, and recommend improvements to leaders for workforce planning.
  • Analyze employee data to identify patterns in turnover, absenteeism, and performance and provide insights to business leaders.
  • Monitor key HR metrics such as employee engagement, retention rates, and diversity statistics.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop data-driven strategies for talent management and development.

Employee Engagement & Development:

  • Attend daily operations start-of-shift meetings and productivity meetings to support operations and maintain visibility with employees.
  • Facilitate succession planning for supervisor roles, maintain coordinator talent pools, and track development plans.
  • Support annual performance reviews for non-exempt employees in partnership with leaders.
  • Provide guidance and resources to employees on career development opportunities and pathways within the organization.
  • Collaborate with HR leaders on internal initiatives to enhance team development, morale, and engagement through networking opportunities and HR projects.

  • 3+ years of related Human Resources experience, preferably in a distribution center or manufacturing plant
  • PHR or SHRM certification preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to effectively give and receive feedback professionally and respectfully, setting an example to others
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge and application of HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce, Success Factors, ,
  • MS Office Suite with strong MS Excel skills
  • Must be flexible and adaptive to respond to a fast-paced environment pro-actively proactively. 
  • Successfully model teamwork and demonstrate a collaborative approach when working with staff, associates, and management
  • Demonstrate Sephora Values when interacting with others in the workplace
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule and adhere to the requirement of working any designated shift and overtime as requested per business and operational needs
  • Minimal travel for seminars and other work-related activities

What You'll Get: 

The annual base salary range for this position is $86,100.00- $90,000.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.This job will be posted for a minimum of 5 days.
