Human Resources Intern
Position Summary
At Rocket Carwash, our people are the foundation of everything we build. As our footprint continues to expand, the Human Resources team plays a critical role in supporting that growth by creating positive, compliant, and engaging employee experiences across all levels of the organization. As a Human Resources Intern, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to the inner workings of a fast-growing, multi-site company while developing practical HR skills that support your professional growth and future career path.

By bringing organization, attention to detail, and a positive attitude to your work, you’ll help foster a culture where growth is encouraged, collaboration is valued, and employees feel supported throughout their journey with Rocket Carwash.
Primary Responsibilities:
General HR amp; Administrative Support
  • Sort incoming mail and respond or route items appropriately
  • Maintain HR email distribution lists
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate logistics, and record meeting minutes
  • Assign HR documents through Paycor for employee acknowledgment and track completion
  • Support ongoing updates to the Rocket Carwash SharePoint page to ensure accurate and up-to-date content
Recruiting amp; Employee Onboarding
  • Monitor the Careers inbox and route applicants to the appropriate WFS Representative
  • Provide recruiting surge support as needed, including for:
    • Coverage for WFS Representatives when out of office
    • New site builds and acquisitions
  • Administer onboarding paperwork for newly hired and acquired team members
  • Assist with weekly reposting of current job openings in Paycor Recruiting to support ongoing hiring efforts
  • Assist with Paycor Recruiting and Perform setup for new locations
  • Assign, track, and communicate new hire LMS training requirements, including state-specific compliance training (e.g., California)
  • Support career fairs and other recruiting events as needed
Compliance amp; Organizational Growth
  • Respond to unemployment claims in a timely and accurate manner
  • Support the maintenance and auditing of site safety binders, ensuring required documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant with company standards
  • Prepare and mail HR compliance poster packets to new sites and follow up to ensure posting compliance
  • Assist with site openings, including opportunities to travel
Programs amp; Reporting
  • Pull and prepare weekly labor reports for assigned sites, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution
  • Pull and audit Paycor document acknowledgment reports, updating the Manager Toolbox to reflect outstanding manager and employee sign‑offs; manually remove terminated employees to maintain accurate and reliable reporting
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
  • High level of professionalism with proven ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgment
