About The Role

The Manager, Enterprise Applications - Microsoft D365 is responsible for the functional and technical leadership, support, governance, and continuous improvement of Howard Hughes Communities' Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) platform and related enterprise applications. This role oversees enterprise ERP operations across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and integrated business systems while also supporting interim JD Edwards and Coupa environments during the company's ERP transformation initiatives.

The position partners closely with Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Operations, Development, and IT leadership to deliver scalable ERP solutions, optimize business processes, improve operational performance, and support enterprise modernization efforts. This role also provides leadership for ERP support operations, release management, system governance, integrations, data integrity, and post-go-live stabilization activities.

This role serves as a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving ERP adoption, process standardization, platform optimization, and long-term application sustainability while ensuring enterprise systems remain stable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the administration, support, optimization, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and related enterprise applications.

  • Provide interim support and operational oversight for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Coupa, and integrated legacy ERP platforms during transformation initiatives.

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex cross-functional ERP and enterprise application issues.

  • Lead prioritization of support activities, enhancements, system improvements, and operational initiatives aligned with business priorities.

  • Support ERP implementation, integration, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities across Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Supply Chain functions.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable ERP and enterprise application solutions.

  • Oversee advanced incident management, root-cause analysis, issue resolution, and operational support processes.

  • Establish and monitor SLAs, support metrics, operational reporting, and service delivery performance standards.

  • Lead release management, change control, testing coordination, deployment planning, and production cutover activities.

  • Ensure compliance with IT governance standards, SOX controls, audit requirements, change management procedures, and operational best practices.

  • Oversee ERP configurations, workflows, business units, financial structures, integrations, and operational data management processes.

  • Ensure data integrity, reconciliation accuracy, and reliable integration performance across financial and operational systems.

  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, implementation partners, and internal teams to support enterprise application initiatives and issue resolution.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, integration, and data teams to support integrated technology operations.

  • Drive process improvement, automation, standardization, and operational efficiency initiatives across enterprise platforms.

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development support to analysts, specialists, and support personnel within the Enterprise Applications team.

  • Promote cross-functional knowledge sharing and operational resiliency to reduce single-person dependency risks.

  • Support user training, knowledge management, adoption activities, and executive stakeholder communications related to enterprise platforms and ERP initiatives.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Business, or a related field required; equivalent experience considered.

  • Significant experience supporting enterprise applications and ERP platforms within complex enterprise environments.

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and/or Supply Chain Management.

  • Experience supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Coupa, or related ERP and procurement platforms preferred.

  • Strong understanding of Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Operations, and Supply Chain business processes.

  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, migrations, post-go-live stabilization, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise application support, configurations, workflows, integrations, operational governance, and release management processes.

  • Experience managing complex cross-functional issues, operational priorities, and enterprise support activities.

  • Working knowledge of reporting tools, structured data, SQL-style queries, exports, reconciliations, and operational reporting processes.

  • Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks including ITIL, SOX compliance, change management, and audit controls.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Power Platform technologies.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Strong organizational, communication, documentation, and leadership skills with the ability to support both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Experience building internal capabilities, reducing reliance on external vendors, and improving operational support maturity.

  • Demonstrated "can-do" attitude, collaboration, adaptability, and customer-focused service mindset.

  • Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, with a track record of learning and applying innovative digital tools to improve operational efficiency, reporting, automation, and business outcomes.
