Job Description
Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
  • Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
  • Contract length of 26 weeks with options to extend
  • Schedule is full-time, 4x10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (with 30-minute lunch); must be available 4 weeks per month
  • Support staff includes CRNAs, Anesthesia Techs, and Anesthesiologists; CRNAs are medically directed, typically at a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio
  • Daily patient volume ranges from 1 to 9 patients per day
  • Patient population spans all age groups excluding neonatal (includes adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics)
  • Coverage areas include Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro (no cardiac or OB)
  • All providers will be required to work NORA
  • Required skills include intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, and general line placement; blocks are not likely required
  • EMR system is EPIC; prior EPIC experience preferred
  • Board certification through NBCRNA required
  • Active Kentucky state license required; open to licensing assistance
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required; new graduates will not be considered
  • Recent experience in a large medical center setting required
