Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

  • Level 1 Trauma experience required

  • Contract length of 26 weeks with options to extend

  • Full-time schedule of 4x10 shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break; must be available 4 weeks per month

  • Medically directed by Anesthesiologists, typically at a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio; support staff includes CRNAs, Anesthesia Techs, and Anesthesiologists

  • Patient volume ranges from 1 to 9 patients per day

  • Patient population includes all age spans excluding neonatal (Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics)

  • Coverage areas include Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neurology; no cardiac or OB coverage

  • All providers will be required to work NORA

  • Required skills include intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, and general line placement; blocks not likely required

  • EMR system is EPIC; prior EPIC experience preferred

  • Practice setting is a hospital Level 1 Trauma Center

  • Board certification through NBCRNA required

  • Active Kentucky state license required; open to licensing

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required; no new graduates; must have recent experience in a large medical center setting
