Job Summary:
The HSE Advisor position is responsible for providing health and safety support for Production Operations and Facilities Engineering & Construction projects in the Gulf of America.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of relevant Health & Safety experience working in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Good knowledge of Gulf of America regulatory requirements (Preferred)
  • HSE auditing and contractor safety management skills
  • Experience with HSE programs and tracking HSE performance
  • Working knowledge of US safety regulations
  • Strong organization skills
  • Experience with Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interface with multiple teams across different disciplines
  • Presentation skills

Responsibilities:
-Support the HSE Leaders
-Manage scheduling for Offshore contractor HSE Advisors and assist with onboarding activities
-Provide HSE support for operations and projects such as incident reporting, investigations and case management, procedure interpretations and application, training for new initiatives
-Develop, implement and review HSE procedures and programs
-Conduct contractor audits and assessments
-Provide HSE expertise on FLHAs, PHAs, HAZOPs, MOCs, JHAs, JSAs
-Trending analysis for strengths and weaknesses within HSE practices
-Shut In Flyers & Safety Campaign Data
-New Campaign Assessments/Hazard Hunts/Safety Actions
-Provide support for HSE Training Fairs
Education and Experience:
-Bachelor's Degree in Health & Safety, Science, Engineering or other related field required.
-8+ years of relevant Health & Safety experience working in the Oil & Gas industry
