Join the BRAVA Team and play a key role in launching our new manufacturing facility in McDonough, Georgia!

As the Human Resources Manager, you will help build and support a positive workplace culture while overseeing daily HR and office operations. This position partners closely with plant leadership to manage recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and office administration. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys building processes from the ground up, and is passionate about supporting employees and operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary onsite HR contact for leadership and employees.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, interview scheduling, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data and personnel files are accurate, organized, and compliant.
  • Assist with timekeeping accuracy, attendance tracking, and benefits enrollment support.
  • Support employee relations by responding to employee questions, concerns, and policy interpretation.
  • Coordinate performance management activities, corrective actions, and employee documentation as needed.
  • Administer leave programs and return-to-work coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and workplace regulations; including I-9 documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Assist with employee engagement, communications, recognition programs, and training initiatives.
  • Manage day-to-day office operations to support plant efficiency and organization.
  • Oversee office supplies, mail distribution and administrative services.
  • Maintain confidential records and ensure proper document retention practices.
  • Partner with plant leadership to support operational priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and timekeeping/payroll systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters professionally.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and engage employees at all levels of the organization.
  • HR certification preferred (PHR or SHRM-CP).

Work Environment

  • Onsite in McDonough, Georgia.
  • Ability to work effectively in both office and production floor environments.
