As a Senior Recruiter with the City of Colorado Springs, you'll serve as a senior member of the Recruiting team, leading complex recruitments and supporting citywide hiring initiatives. How You'll Make an Impact Lead the recruiting process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer development, and pre-employment completion for a wide variety of positions, including regular, seasonal, special, intern, volunteer, and elected officials roles. Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies, provide expert guidance throughout the hiring process, and deliver exceptional customer service. Serve as a senior member of the Recruiting team by providing technical guidance, mentoring Recruiter I staff, supporting workflow coordination, and promoting quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.

Lead and support key workforce programs, including military friendly initiatives, internship and seasonal hiring programs, volunteer initiatives, community partnerships, and recruitment outreach events. Recommend, develop, and implement process improvements that enhance recruitment operations, the candidate experience, and the City's talent acquisition strategy. Develop and maintain professional job announcements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), desk manuals, training materials, and other recruitment resources.

Serve as the functional lead for NeoGov recruiting systems by supporting system administration, troubleshooting issues, implementing enhancements, and ensuring data integrity. Develop, analyze, and present recruitment metrics using PeopleSoft, NeoGov, and other HR systems to evaluate performance and support data-driven decision-making. Assist with Requests for Proposals (RFPs), vendor and contract administration, special projects, and other related duties as assigned.
