Job description

Occupational Health Nurse II

Location: 1820 Bastian Court, Westfield, IN 46074

Duration: 5+ months of contract role

Shift: 9 am to 6:00 pm

Client: Abbott

Pay rate: $45/hr

Manager Notes: Manufacturing experience, help with a medical emergency

Experience and Education

Experience: 2–4 years

Education: Bachelor's degree and current RN license required

Duties
  • Provide occupational health services, including treatment and care to the site population (e.g., First Aid response).
  • Manage a diversity of occupational health programs and systems.
  • Manage all employee injuries and illnesses, including associated workers' compensation cases.
  • Administer medical surveillance programs, protocols, logs, and screenings.
  • Manage and maintain all medical supplies.
  • Coordinate corporate occupational health and safety programs.
  • Conduct applicable employee training programs.
  • Participate in various site teams and Emergency Response activities.
  • Collaborate with Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) and HR staff.
  • Work closely with site employees, managers, and supervisors.
  • Drive reduction in Workers' Compensation costs through effective case management, return-to-work initiatives, and preventive programs.

Additional requirements: 2-4 years experience required. Company preference: Abbott
