Job Description
The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing strategic and day-to-day human resources support. This role partners closely with operational leaders to strengthen employee relations, improve organizational effectiveness, and ensure HR practices align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with department leaders to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Advise managers on HR policies, employment practices, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Support recruiting efforts by partnering with hiring managers throughout the hiring process, from requisition planning through onboarding.
  • Coach supervisors on employee development, conflict resolution, and performance improvement strategies.
  • Assist with investigations involving workplace concerns and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and employee engagement.
  • Support compensation, performance review, and talent development initiatives.
  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding activities to ensure a positive new hire experience.
  • Participate in organizational change initiatives and help drive HR programs that support business goals.
  • Maintain accurate employee records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner, Human Resources Generalist, or similar HR role.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.
  • Experience supporting leaders in a manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
