We're seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our Human Resources team. As an HR Business Partner, you'll work closely with leaders to influence business decisions, provide strategic HR guidance, and deliver practical solutions across talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, workforce planning, organizational development, performance management, and leadership coaching.

What You'll Do

As an HR Business Partner, you'll serve as a strategic consultant and trusted advisor to leaders while partnering across the Human Resources team to support HR Green's continued growth and success.

Strategic HR Partnership
  • Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned business units and corporate departments, providing strategic guidance aligned with business objectives.
  • Build trusted relationships with leaders by providing thoughtful coaching, proactive consultation, and practical HR solutions.
  • Partner with leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
  • Help leaders navigate organizational change while supporting business growth and employee engagement.
  • Advise leaders on performance management, employee development, conflict resolution, and complex personnel matters.
Talent & Organizational Development
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards to support recruiting strategies, compensation decisions, and workforce planning.
  • Evaluate compensation recommendations using market data, internal equity, and HR Green's job architecture.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining accurate job descriptions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve employee development, retention, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support the design and continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, and initiatives.
Employee Relations & Compliance
  • Independently manage complex employee relations matters.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and provide recommendations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on employment law, HR policies, and compliance.
  • Coach managers on employee relations, documentation, and performance conversations.
  • Analyze exit interview trends and recommend improvements.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Lead or support enterprise HR initiatives.
  • Analyze workforce trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Promote consistency and operational excellence across HR programs.
What You Bring

You're a strategic HR professional who balances business acumen with a passion for people and enjoys partnering with leaders to drive organizational success.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, and HR compliance.
  • Experience coaching leaders through performance management and organizational change.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting engineering, consulting, or professional services organizations.
  • Experience with Workday or similar HCM systems.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
