Manufacturing Associate

Position Title: Manufacturing Associate
Location: Neenah, WI
Mativ has openings for Manufacturing Associates within our Neenah Paper Mill. Employees are paid double time for hours worked on Sundays. The shift differential is 26¢ for 2nd shift and 52¢ additional for hours worked on 3rd shift. Starting pay is $30.89/hr. Employees work Mon-Fri with O.T. scheduled as needed. This position will train on 8 hour shifts following a rotating shift schedule and will transition to 12 hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule.
DESCRIPTION
Mativ has openings for Manufacturing Associates to work on our Paper Machine at the Neenah Mill. These positions work in the bottom jobs within the mill and then move up in the progression as positions open. Manufacturing Associates will work as 4th Hands, Helpers in stock prep and on our Laminator. Employees must be able to work 8-12 hr. rotating shifts, overtime and a schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
Essential Functions include:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Climbing stairs and ladders
Considerable walking, reaching, turning and twisting
Working in hot temperatures
Comprehend and follow written procedures and policies
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE
  • MUST POSSESS A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED
  • DEMONSTRATE PERSONAL SAFETY AWARENESS AND PROMOTE A SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • WILLING TO WORK ROTATING SHIFTS/OVERTIME
  • GOOD MECHANICAL AND TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS
  • SOLID COMPUTER SKILLS
  • OPERATE HIGH SPEED EQUIPMENT AFTER AN INITIAL TRAINING PERIOD
  • ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY IN A TEAM OR SELF-DIRECTED WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • PAPER MACHINE, CONVERTING, OR OTHER PROCESS RELATED EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
