Human Resources Administrator

ROLE WHC LLC (A Surerus Murphy Company) (WHC), is recruiting a Human Resources Administrator. This position supports core office-based employees throughout the employee life cycle including the onboarding and offboarding experience, employee record management, compliance, reporting, and day-to-day employee support. This role requires strong attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining data integrity and a high level of service to employees and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of employee data within COINS (ERP), including data entry, audits, and system clean-up
  • Generate and analyze and distribute recurring and ad hoc HR reports, including headcount, demographics, EEO, and audit reports
  • Manage and maintain confidential employee records in accordance with company policies and retention requirements.
  • Process Verification of Employment requests accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries in the HR shared inbox, escalating or redirecting as appropriate.
  • Administer employee recognition programs, including Service Awards and Core Values Awards
  • Track and maintain company vehicle insurance documentation and compliance logs
  • Complete Form I-9 verification and E-Verify processing
  • Support the employees' onboarding and offboarding experiences including preparing and collecting required documentation
  • Coordinate with Payroll to ensure accurate and complete employee documentation is submitted and maintained.
  • Organize, file, and maintain employee personnel records (electronic and/or paper) to support accessibility and data integrity.
  • Answer employee questions and redirect inquiries as required.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support HR initiatives
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

Note: In addition to these duties personnel are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required in order to support the objectives of the company. Position Requirements Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Must be willing to travel up to 40% to our Louisiana office.

Experience

  • 2+ years' experience in human resources or related field

Skills and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of HR processes including onboarding and compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
