MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Women and Children Services this position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of one (1) year recent experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Two (2) years experience in a Nursery/NICU setting preferred.

Required Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation (List any licensure or certification required and specify name of agency.)

  • Valid California State Registered Nurse License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certificate from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) or American Heart Association (AHA)
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. Baby Assessment (required within 6 months of hire)
  • Los Angeles County Fire Card (required within 30 days of hire)
  • Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of hire)
