  • We specialize in residential and commercial roofing, gutter installation, siding, and storm damage solutions. Our team is committed to protecting our customers' homes and businesses while delivering a professional, straightforward experience from start to finish.
  • At Liberty Roofing Pros, we value integrity, accountability, and people who take pride in their work. We're growing and looking for motivated individuals who want to grow with us.
Position Overview
The Outside Sales Representative is the primary customer-facing professional at Liberty Roofing Pros, responsible for conducting on-site inspections, presenting tailored roofing solutions, and closing deals in the field. This is a commission-based role with a $1,000/week guarantee and uncapped earning potential. We provide a company vehicle, pre-scheduled appointments, and professional sales coaching - you focus on selling.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Appointment Management & Inspection
    • Attend pre-scheduled appointments at residential and commercial properties to conduct thorough on-site roofing assessments.
    • Document findings with CompanyCam, capture measurements with Hover, and identify all issues and opportunities.
    • Perform attic inspections, check ventilation, and assess gutters, siding, and related exterior components.
  2. Consultative Selling & Presentation
    • Create personalized roofing options that address each homeowner's specific needs, budget, and timeline.
    • Deliver professional presentations that build confidence and clearly communicate value.
    • Handle objections with a consultative approach - solving problems, not pushing products.
  3. Deal Closure & Payment Collection
    • Negotiate effectively to close sales agreements with confidence and professionalism.
    • Collect payments according to company policies at the point of sale.
    • Work with financing options to help customers find affordable solutions.
  4. Pipeline & Relationship Management
    • Maintain an up-to-date pipeline in HubSpot CRM, logging notes, photos, and follow-up activities after every appointment.
    • Nurture long-term relationships with clients, seeking referrals and additional opportunities.
    • Follow up on open proposals and re-engage stalled deals.
  5. Collaboration with Operations & Production
    • Relay detailed inspection findings, customer requirements, and payment information to Inside Sales and Production Coordinators.
    • Provide clear documentation that enables seamless project handoff and execution.
    • Communicate scope, materials, and scheduling preferences to ensure the crew has everything they need.
  6. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
    • Track personal sales performance metrics including conversion rates and revenue generated.
    • Report results regularly and actively seek improvement opportunities.
    • Participate in ongoing sales coaching with Top Rep to sharpen skills and increase close rate.
Required Qualifications
  • Education & Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred).
    • 2+ years of outside sales or field-based customer-facing experience, ideally in home improvement, construction, or a consultative selling environment.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Capable of managing your own schedule, leads, and follow-ups without oversight.
    • Communication: Strong verbal skills for in-person presentations; clear, concise writing for proposals and CRM documentation.
    • CRM Familiarity: Experience logging sales activity in a CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
    • Negotiation & Closing: Ability to adapt your pitch, handle objections, and finalize deals confidently.
    • Team Collaboration: Comfortable partnering with Inside Sales, Production, and other departments for a seamless customer experience.
    • Physical Capability: Able to climb ladders, walk on roofs, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Compensation & Schedule
  • Commission-based role with a $1,000/week guarantee. Company vehicle provided with all fuel and expenses paid. Tablet, professional sales coaching, health insurance, and 401(k) with company match included. Top performers earn $100K-$150K+ annually with no cap.
  • Work Hours: Full-time, 40-50 hours per week. Field-based with some flexibility for evening or weekend appointments to accommodate homeowner schedules.

The pay range for this role is:
