This is a high‑volume, repeat‑client environment where speed, precision, and execution matter. Projects are complex, schedules are aggressive, and teams are expected to perform at a high level. Why join us?
  • Strong pipeline of ground‑up student housing & urban mid/high‑rise projects
  • Clear runway to Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager
  • Exposure to large‑scale builds ($40M–$150M+)
  • Stable, repeat‑client business model (not chasing one‑off work)
  • Competitive base + bonus + travel package/per diem
  • Opportunity to work with high‑performing teams in a fast‑paced environment
Job Details

The Senior Project Engineer plays a key role in driving project execution from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents on large‑scale, vertical construction projects.

This is a traveling role across the Southeast U.S., supporting active job sites where needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead RFI, submittal, and document control processes with minimal oversight
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to maintain schedule and quality
  • Assist in project scheduling, phasing plans, and look‑ahead planning
  • Track and manage project costs, change orders, and budget impacts
  • Support buyout and procurement efforts for key trades
  • Drive QA/QC processes and ensure work aligns with plans/specs
  • Maintain strong communication between field operations and office teams
  • Assist in project closeout, punch lists, and turnover documentation
What We’re Looking For:
  • 4–8+ years of experience in commercial construction
  • Experience on student housing, multifamily, or mid/high‑rise projects strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage project documentation and coordination independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and logistics
  • Proficient with tools like Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast (project‑based assignments)
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
