  • Lead day-to-day operations of federally funded housing programs.
  • Manage a multi-million-dollar federal grant portfolio, including budgets, reporting, and compliance.
  • Supervise and develop program staff, contractors, and consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with HUD, EPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, Healthy Homes, Lead Safe Housing, and other federal requirements.
  • Oversee quality assurance, program monitoring, procurement, and risk management.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and identify new funding opportunities.
  • Collaborate across departments to strengthen housing initiatives and community impact.
Requirements
  • Education Option A: Bachelor's degree in construction management, public administration, community development, business administration, housing, or related field required.
  • Minimum seven years of relevant HUD and team management experience.
  • Option B: High school degree or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum eleven years of relevant experience administering HUD programs, or a combination of relevant HUD and team management experience.
  • Experience managing a federal grant portfolio of at least $2 million.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of federal housing regulations, grant administration, compliance, procurement, and financial management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, contracts, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • HQS, NSPIRE, Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor, or related housing compliance certifications preferred.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, acceptable driving record, reliable personal vehicle and at least the state minimum personal liability auto insurance coverage.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.
