Job description

This National Guard position is for a HOUSING MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT (INDEF) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D0603000and is part of the Utah Training Center located in Camp Williams, UT, with the Utah Army National Guard.
Priority will be given to those who are current military members of the Utah Army National Guard.
The selecting supervisor is SFC Robert Pope.
This is an Indefinite Appointment.

Qualifications:*Your resume must reflect in detail how the duties and responsibilities under each position you have held with each employer meets the below listed general and specialized experience required for the position.
**Must include beginning and ending dates of employment stated as MM/YYYY; and total hours worked per week in order to determine part time vs. full time credit.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
Experience which provided a general knowledge of housing management methods, practices, and operating techniques. Experience communicating information both verbally and in writing, and the ability to meet and deal with individuals and groups.
***Must be familiar with automated systems and Microsoft Office programs***
Specialized Experience GS-07:
Have 1 year equivalent to at least GS-1173-5. (Must submit SF 50 demonstrating experience in occupational series 1173 to validate claim)
OR
Experience, education or training determining deficiencies of housing and coordinating the required services to correct the deficiencies. Experience reviewing housing applications for accuracy and completeness. Experience monitoring housing assignments in accordance with appropriate rules and procedures. Experience in conducting audits and preparing reports. Experience using automated systems to update, retrieve and analyze data.Education:Substitute Education for Specialized Experience:
1 full year of graduate level education
or
Superior academic achievement
