Job description:
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable, punctual, and physically fit Houseman to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Bensenville. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel, ensuring a pleasant environment for both guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for cleaning the exterior of the property, including sidewalks and entryways.
  • Pick up trash and debris from the parking lot and surrounding exterior areas.
  • Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
  • Replace linens, towels, and other guest amenities as needed.
  • Empty trash bins throughout the hotel and ensure cleanliness in public areas, including parking lots.
  • Clean windows and glass surfaces, ensuring they are spotless.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.
  • Assist in the management of housekeeping inventory and equipment.
  • Follow a daily checklist to ensure that all assigned areas are maintained regularly, including garbage removal, dusting, cleaning windows, and other common tasks.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests by responding to requests in a timely and friendly manner.
Requirements:
  • Previous houseman experience is preferred.
