Description

The Hauskeeping Supervisor supports the daily operations of the Haus-Keeping department by providing on-shift leadership, quality control, and team support. This role ensures guest rooms and public areas meet Gravity Haus cleanliness and presentation standards while helping coordinate the work of Haus-Keepers during each shift.


The Hauskeeping Supervisor works closely with the Hauskeeping Manager to execute daily priorities but is not responsible for overall department management. Instead, this role focuses on guiding team members, maintaining quality standards, and supporting efficient daily operations.


Key Responsibilities


Team Support & Shift Coordination

  • Support the daily workflow of Haus-Keepers by helping assign tasks and prioritize room readiness.
  • Provide on-the-floor leadership and guidance to Haus-Keepers during shifts.
  • Assist with training and mentoring new Haus-Keepers on procedures and service standards.
  • Serve as a point of contact for housekeeping questions during shifts when management is not present.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Quality Control & Standards

  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet Gravity Haus standards.
  • Identify and address cleaning deficiencies, providing real-time feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Ensure consistent execution of housekeeping service standards across all rooms and spaces.

Operational Support

  • Assist with daily housekeeping operations including room cleaning, laundry support, and public area upkeep as needed.
  • Help coordinate linen distribution and laundry workflow.
  • Monitor inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
  • Respond to guest service requests and housekeeping issues promptly and professionally.

Reporting & Communication

  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and property damage to the appropriate department.
  • Ensure lost and found items are properly documented and turned in according to procedures.
  • Communicate room status updates and operational needs to the Housekeeping Manager and Front Desk team.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years housekeeping experience within a hotel or resort setting.
  • Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality required.
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring team members preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.

El/La Supervisor(a) de Ama de Llaves trabaja en estrecha colaboracion con el/la Gerente de Ama de Llaves para ejecutar las prioridades diarias, pero no es responsable de la administracion general del departamento. En cambio, este puesto se enfoca en orientar a los miembros del equipo, mantener los estandares de calidad y apoyar operaciones diarias eficientes.


Responsabilidades Principales


Apoyo al Equipo y Coordinacion de Turnos
  • Apoyar el flujo de trabajo diario del personal de limpieza ayudando a asignar tareas y priorizar la preparacion de habitaciones.
  • Proporcionar liderazgo y orientacion al personal de limpieza durante los turnos.
  • Ayudar en la capacitacion y mentoria de nuevos miembros del equipo sobre procedimientos y estandares de servicio.
  • Servir como punto de contacto para preguntas relacionadas con limpieza cuando la gerencia no este presente.
  • Fomentar un ambiente de trabajo positivo y colaborativo.
Control de Calidad y Estandares
  • Inspeccionar habitaciones de huespedes y areas publicas para garantizar que la limpieza y presentacion cumplan con los estandares de Gravity Haus.
  • Identificar y corregir deficiencias de limpieza, proporcionando retroalimentacion y capacitacion en tiempo real al equipo.
  • Garantizar la ejecucion consistente de los estandares de servicio de limpieza en todas las habitaciones y espacios.
Apoyo Operativo
  • Ayudar con las operaciones diarias de limpieza, incluyendo limpieza de habitaciones, apoyo en lavanderia y mantenimiento de areas publicas segun sea necesario.
  • Ayudar a coordinar la distribucion de ropa de cama y el flujo de trabajo de lavanderia.
  • Monitorear los niveles de inventario de suministros de limpieza y notificar a la gerencia cuando sea necesario reabastecer.
  • Responder de manera rapida y profesional a solicitudes de huespedes y situaciones relacionadas con limpieza.
Reportes y Comunicacion
  • Reportar problemas de mantenimiento, riesgos de seguridad y danos a la propiedad al departamento correspondiente.
  • Asegurar que los articulos perdidos y encontrados sean documentados y entregados de acuerdo con los procedimientos establecidos.

Lo Que Buscamos

  • Mas de 3 anos de experiencia en limpieza dentro de hoteles o resorts.
  • Experiencia previa en limpieza en la industria de la hospitalidad.
  • Se prefiere experiencia previa liderando o guiando a miembros de equipo.
