Certifications/Licenses:
- Must be able to pass New York State Health Department requirements for food handlers.

About the Role
The Housekeeping/Food Service Worker supports shelter operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food service, and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for residents.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, kitchens, and dining areas.
- Assist with food preparation, serving, and cleanup in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and food service equipment.
- Follow infection control, health, and safety procedures.
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory control.
- Remove trash and maintain sanitation of waste areas.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
