Job description

Home Health Aide Opportunity With Sunset

Are you a caring individual who enjoys helping others? If so, we have a wonderful opportunity for you to work as a Home Health Aide with Sunset!

Our clients in the community need your compassionate care to assist with their quality of life needs. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide hands-on care and companionship, housekeeping assistance, assisting with meal prep and errands, medication reminders, and other activities according to their care plan.

Essential functions include:

  • Assist with client ADLs including mobility, hygiene, eating and dressing and other needs
  • Housekeeping assistance
  • Helping with meal prepping and errands
  • Companionship for clients
  • Outings with clients

This position is Part Time or PRN with a "build your own schedule" approach that lets you tailor your work schedule around your life. The earliest start time is 7am and the latest end time is 5pm. Schedule would be Monday - Friday and a weekend rotation of every 4th weekend. There will be only 1 scheduled holiday per year and 1 on-call holiday.

We have Part Time and PRN available!

Part time will be helping with clients between the hours of 4 pm - 7 pm during the week and 11 am - 7 pm during the weekends.

Currently we are visiting clients between the hours of 7 am - 7 pm. Currently we have flexibility in those hours for PRN/on call status.

There is potential to grow with this role, as your hours can grow in the future as we are adding more clients! Clients will all be within a 15 mile radius of Sunset Manor and Villages (725 Baldwin St, Jenison, MI 49428).

Starting wage at $17.75- $18 per hour, with experience considered. No prior experience necessary we will have paid on the job training!

Sunset offers a mileage reimbursement program to cover gas expense, and we have our own vehicles for Home Health Aides to use!
