The Renovation Gents, LLC is a premier design-build firm based in Birmingham, AL, specializing in the meticulous preservation and high-end restoration of historic properties. We blend period-accurate architecture with modern luxury, offering expert kitchen, bathroom, and whole-house renovations that deliver exceptional craftsmanship to every project. We are seeking a versatile, energetic, and highly organized Executive Assistant and Project Coordinator to act as the "right-hand" to our business owners. This dynamic hybrid role bridges the gap between office administration and field operations—perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Compensation & Perks

  • Salary/Pay: $20-26* per hour, Exempt *Based on Experience and/or Level of Education

  • Job Type: Full-Time (Monday – Friday) with benefits

  • Perks: Hands-on experience in the design-build industry, opportunities to work on unique, historical projects, in a friendly, collaborative company culture. Potential to grow with the company as our firm continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Office & Administrative Support: Work directly with Designer/CFO, Manage busy calendars, handle emails, answer calls, take notes on site, maintain digital project files, work on special tasks for principle’s other two businesses. Social media/marketing skills skills are a plus!!!

  • Field Logistics & Errands: Pick up, deliver, and track project materials, samples, and specialized equipment for active job sites.

  • Project Coordination: Assist with site visits, document project progress, and coordinate schedules with subcontractors.

  • Design & Architecture Assistance: Help prepare client proposals, presentations, and physical/digital design boards.

  • Client & Team Communication: Act as a professional, positive point of contact for clients and vendors.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Industry Interest: Background or strong interest in interior design, architecture, or construction.

  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in Google Drive/Workspace and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with QuickBooks, CAD, or Adobe software is a major plus.

  • Flexibility: High adaptability to shifting priorities between desk work and active field work.

  • License & Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are strictly required.

  • Organization: Impeccable attention to detail and a proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. High energy.
