About Our Family

We're a loving family in a full and rewarding season of life, balancing two careers, a toddler, and a newborn on the way. Both parents hold demanding professional roles and are frequently in-office, with occasional travel throughout the year (roughly every other month, one parent is away). We have bi-weekly housekeeping, but the day-to-day upkeep, errands, meal prep, and family logistics fall squarely on us - and that's where things get heavy.

We run a tight ship. Our home has systems in place, and we take pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly. We eat healthy, mostly organic, and prioritize structure for our kids. Right now, we're doing grocery runs and laundry late at night, and we're ready to change that. We're looking for someone who can come in, learn how our home works, and take real ownership of the details that keep everything moving.

Who You Are

We're looking for a thoughtful, proactive House Manager who genuinely enjoys creating calm, order, and efficiency behind the scenes. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in anticipating needs, following through on commitments, and helping a busy household run smoothly. While the primary focus of this role is household management, we're hoping to find someone who enjoys being part of a family-centered environment and values building a long-term, trusting relationship with the family. Our ideal candidate will be:

  • Highly organized and systems-oriented, with the ability to create and maintain routines that keep the household running efficiently.
  • Proactive and self-directed, naturally noticing what needs attention and taking initiative without requiring constant oversight.
  • Reliable and consistent, demonstrating strong follow-through, punctuality, and a high level of personal accountability.
  • A strong communicator who is warm, approachable, and professional, with the emotional intelligence to build trust, read the room, and balance friendly engagement with respecting the family's space and routines.
  • Comfortable in a home with young children. Although this is primarily a household management role, we'd love someone who genuinely enjoys being around children and is happy to step in with occasional, light backup childcare support when needed. Familiarity with the rhythms and flexibility required in a home with a toddler and newborn is a significant plus.
  • Familiar with the Albuquerque area, or able to quickly learn the local community, vendors, and resources, with an appreciation for the unique pace and logistics of living in a "big small town."
  • Proud of the details, finding satisfaction in the small things that make a meaningful difference-from maintaining organized spaces and a well-stocked home to anticipating the family's needs before they arise.

Ultimately, we're hoping to find someone who will become a trusted extension of our family-someone who brings professionalism, warmth, initiative, and genuine pride in making our home feel organized, supported, and cared for every day.
