Minimum Experience Manager/Supervisor
Compensation $44,000 per year
Effectively and efficiently manage the operations of the homes assigned. In collaboration with the Program Managers and the Interdisciplinary TEAM (IDT) this includes providing for the health, welfare, and safety of the individuals residing in the home. The House Manager is to work a 40 hour flexible schedule to meet the needs of the home, individuals, and administrative obligations. Within these 40 hours, there is a minimum expectation that the House Manager be present at the home(s) at least three(3) weekend days and six (6) afternoons/ early evenings a month for at least four (4) hours each of those days. House Managers are to flex their schedules as needed.
House Managers are responsible to ensure staff are well trained and competent to care for and support the individuals in the home, ensure timely completion of documentation, complete regular audits of the home/vehicle and ensure the safety of the environment, oversee that clients health care needs are met.
Skills needed:
Must be able to speak, read and write in English
Proficient in the use of a personal computer and various software packages
Must have or gain a working knowledge of Therap, Time IPS and other agency systems as applicable
Knowledge of agency positions and responsibilities, and who to go to with specific questions and/or concerns
Must be of good integrity and possess adequate physical, mental and emotional stability to meet job responsibilities in a safe and responsible manner
Must have good organizational and time management skills
Must have or gain a general understanding of the DD Waiver / Mi Via Waiver
Communicate in a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, individuals, and stakeholders
Able to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without hands-on supervision
Able to handle and resolve recurring problems
Requirements:
Valid New Mexico Driver's License
Valid Auto Liability Insurance
Pass required background checks
Completion of a TB test.
Job-Related Certification(s)/Trainings, as and when deemed necessary by Great Livin' LLC and/or the state of New Mexico
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years of successful employment working with persons with disabilities and/or behavioral health challenges.
