We design, manufacture, and distribute innovative electronic products and solutions for industrial and consumer applications.Our Global Legal & Compliance team plays a key role in enabling business growth while ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards across all jurisdictions in which we operate.Position SummaryWe are seeking a mid-level In-House Legal & Compliance Counsel (Americas) with a strong focus on the United States to join our Global Legal & Compliance team.The successful candidate will act as the primary legal advisor for all legal and compliance matters in the Americas region (excluding labour/employment law and tax law), providing pragmatic, business-oriented legal guidance to support commercial operations, regulatory compliance, and risk management.Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary legal and compliance contact for all business activities in the Americas region, with a focus on the USLegal support for all areas except labor/employment law and tax lawDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including sales, procurement and partnership agreementsAdvising on sales, procurement, operations, product, regulatory, competition, and corporate mattersManaging and enhancing compliance processes and frameworks, advising on compliance, including anti-bribery, anti-corruption, anti-trust, and trade compliance matters, internal policies, and investigationsConducting risk assessments and supporting mitigation measuresDelivering legal and compliance trainings to business stakeholdersManaging external counselSupporting disputes, strategic projects, reorganizations, and cross-border mattersCollaborate closely with global Legal & Compliance colleagues to ensure consistent legal standards across regionsSupport M&A, joint ventures, and strategic transactions as requiredThe Background You’ll NeedFully qualified attorney admitted to practice law in the United States (any state bar; OH preferred)Minimum 6–10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably including both law firm and in-house experienceStrong background in commercial law and corporate complianceExperience working with international companies or cross-border legal mattersSolid understanding of US regulatory frameworks relevant to the electronics or manufacturing industry is a plusStrong business acumen and ability to provide pragmatic, solution-oriented legal adviceExcellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skillsAbility to work independently across time zones and manage multiple stakeholdersHigh integrity, sound judgment, and a strong compliance mindsetComfortable operating in a matrixed, international environmentFluency in English required; additional languages (especially German) are a plus but not requiredWe take pride in fostering a supportive and collaborative workplace culture, where employees feel connected and valued.
