Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead ServiceNow Engineer - AI Enablement in Irvine, CA; Irving, TX; or Henderson, NV.
Overview:
We are seeking a Lead ServiceNow Engineer to help drive the next generation of enterprise workflow automation and AI-enabled software development. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys building scalable business solutions while leveraging modern AI technologies to accelerate development, improve productivity, and modernize enterprise platforms.
This is not a traditional ServiceNow Administrator position. We are looking for someone who can actively develop, architect solutions, build integrations, and help evolve engineering practices through the practical use of AI-assisted development tools.
Essential Functions:
* Design, develop, and maintain solutions within the ServiceNow platform
* Build custom workflows, automations, integrations, and enterprise applications
* Partner with technical and business stakeholders to solve complex business challenges
* Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve engineering productivity
* Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes through workflow automation and intelligent solutions
* Contribute to platform modernization initiatives and emerging technology adoption
* Mentor team members and provide technical leadership on solution design and implementation
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of software development experience
* Strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience
* Experience building workflow automation and enterprise application solutions
* Experience with APIs, integrations, and platform engineering
* Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with stakeholders
* Ability to independently drive solutions from concept through implementation
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, or similar platforms
* Understanding of Agentic AI, Generative AI, LLMs, or intelligent automation concepts
* Experience with ServiceNow SPM, CSM, Journey Management, or Portal Development
* Experience supporting workflow modernization and enterprise transformation initiatives
* Strong architecture mindset with the ability to evaluate and implement emerging technologies
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
