Job description

Join us at Heartland Automotive in Greencastle, Indiana, a growing manufacturer of automotive parts. The Manufacturing Associate supports production by assembling and inspecting automotive interior and exterior components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves hands-on assembly work, monitoring product quality, and helping maintain the flow of materials through the production line. These are Temp-To-Hire positions with room for advancement. We offer: Around The Clock Onsite Service Team, Health Insurance Benefits, Weekly Paychecks, and Direct Deposit or Pay Card options. Must be able to read work instructions, safety materials, and labels written in English. A great opportunity!

Job Responsibilities


Automotive Assembly Associates assist in the manufacturing of interior and exterior automotive parts.

  • Assemble interior and exterior automotive components by following work instructions and production standards
  • Use assembly line machinery, automated equipment, and small hand tools to complete production tasks
  • Assist with machine operations, including processes such as injection molding when needed
  • Inspect finished parts for defects and confirm products meet quality specifications
  • Report quality concerns or production issues to supervisors
  • Move parts between workstations and support the overall flow of the production line
  • Load and unload materials used in production
  • Support shipping, receiving, or forklift operations, depending on department needs



This position typically involves standing for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and handling light to moderate materials.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $13.50 - $18.75 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
