Introduction
Prince William County Division of Risk & Wellness Services is seeking a motivated administrative professional to provide administrative management and support to a division that delivers a range of services to the organization. This position will provide training support, accounting, other programming, and general administrative functions. This full-time position as an Administrative Coordinator is ideal for someone who wants to work in a dynamic office that serves the Prince William County workforce and community and enjoys the challenge of a job that is different every day.
This person must be dedicated to providing the highest level of service to employees and citizens and work in a division where teamwork is an essential function. This position will be essential in continuing to develop positive relationships to ensure a reputation as a trusted partner with internal stakeholders. The office is located in Woodbridge.
About This Role:
This position will:
  • Provide support to the Risk & Wellness Division with a team of 17 people;
  • Ensure department compliance with applicable policies; administering daily administrative operations such as payroll and purchasing; creating purchase orders; maintaining office supplies; processing invoices; updating and maintaining records, reports, and databases;
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reports;
  • Maintain budgets;
  • Record and track subrogation and restitution payments;
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records for audits;
  • Provide human resource liaison tasks;
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry;
  • Provide support and administrative functions for training programs;
  • Provide driver program administration;
  • Provide excellent customer service;
  • Interact with Risk staff in a team environment.

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D. with 3 years ofadministrative experience or other related experience.
Preferences:
The successful candidate will have:
  • An Associate's degree
  • Experience and a high level of accuracy with data entry systems
  • Computer and general office skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Experience with financial management systems for procurement and invoicing
  • Experience with external audits of programs and data reporting
  • Intermediate to advanced administrative experience working with various databases/systems
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple activities at once
  • Strong experience in administrative project management and process improvement
  • Professional-level oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills

Special Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a DMV Records Check

Work Schedule:
This is a 37.5-hour position located in Woodbridge, VA. Work is generally between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Hiring Salary Range: $28.32 - $40.69 Hourly
