Pay range for this position is $46.94 - $58.26/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Overview
CORE FLEX RN:
POSITION SUMMARY: The Core Flex II Registered Nurse provides expert, engaged nursing care, aligned with their competencies, across a defined market or region within OSF HealthCare. The Core Flex II RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients using the nursing process. The Core Flex II RN is a highly knowledgeable, autonomous professional who demonstrates flexibility and adaptability, seamlessly working across various units and locations to meet patient and organizational needs. The Core Flex II RN role requires advanced clinical competence, informal leadership capability, and provides safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to patients across the care continuum in diverse environments.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISOR:
POSITION SUMMARY: The Administrative Supervisor assists in overseeing work of team members engaging in providing both direct and indirect patient/nursing care services to patients on assigned shifts. Demonstrates the ability to be accountable for ensuring safe high-quality patient care, enhance the patient /family experience, and provide effective leadership contributing to the delivery of the organization's objectives. Determines work priorities, works with Charge Nurses and Department Leads to ensure appropriate staffing, and serves as a resource person for all facility Team Members resolving operational and patient care problems.
Qualifications
CORE FLEX RN:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associate degree in nursing Experience: 1 year of nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting within the specialty hired. Licensure/ Certification: Reg Nurse License in the state of Illinois Basic Life Support certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association Advanced Care Life Support certification (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (required for applicable specialties) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association (required for applicable specialties) Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain flexibility in work and schedule. Strong clinical judgment and autonomous decision-making ability. Advanced assessment, analytical, and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage complex patient populations across the care continuum. Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft applications. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or completion within two years of hire. Experience: 2 years of nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting within the specialty hired. Participation in Clinical Ladder strongly encouraged.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISOR:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: BSN Experience: 3 years of experience in an acute care setting. Licenses/Certifications:RN-Registered Nurse Professional national leadership certification or as determined by the operating unit CNO within one year after hire BLS and ACLS by American Heart Association Other certifications as required per operating unit e.g. PALS, TNCC, NRP, and NIMS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Other requirements/information: Demonstrates proven leadership skills. Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively lead and direct the work of other employees in order to effectively interact with patients, families, physicians. Demonstrates knowledge of all emergency procedures including EMR downtime, disaster plan, etc. Demonstrates knowledge of policy and procedures and the ability to access them as needed. Demonstrates knowledge of the location of educational/supportive resources and the ability to locate appropriate resources.
