Job description

$33.46-$34.04/hour RN, full-time nights (7:00pm-7:00am), at Pleasant View Skilled Nursing Community in Ottawa, IL. $3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time hires. PRN shifts also open at $43.00/hour.
You'll care for residents at Pleasant View, a skilled nursing community in Ottawa. On nights, you're the senior clinical decision-maker on the floor, which means residents and their families are counting on your judgment when things change fast.
What you'll do:
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents through the night, including monitoring health status and responding to changes in condition
  • Complete resident assessments and lead individualized care planning
  • Administer medications and treatments, and delegate and oversee tasks performed by LPNs and CNAs on your unit*
  • Communicate condition changes to the on-call provider and to residents' families
  • Serve as the charge nurse for your shift, coordinating care across the floor

What you'll need:
Required:
  • Active Illinois RN license

Preferred:
  • Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting

Pay and benefits:
  • $33.46-$34.04/hour, full-time night shift, plus shift differential [amount to be confirmed]
  • $45.00/hour available for full-time RNs who opt out of the standard benefits package (Paid in Lieu of Benefits rate)
  • $3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time hires (12-month commitment required)
  • $43.00/hour for PRN, plus shift differential where applicable (minimum 4 shifts/month, including 1 weekend shift/month)
