Job description

RN – Cardiac OR (Circulator Only) (Contract)

Location: New York
Pay: $2,351 – $2,635/week
Shift: Day Shift, 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM (3x12s)


Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Independently function as an RN circulator in a high-acuity Adult Cardiac OR

  • Support complex cardiac procedures including CABG, TAVR, Bentall, valve replacements, and heart failure cases (VAD, ECMO, Impella)

  • Assist with advanced cases such as heart transplants (experience preferred)

  • Ensure patient safety, sterile environment, and adherence to OR protocols

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes


Requirements
  • Licensure: Active New York RN License – Required

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years RN experience – Required

    • Cardiac OR and/or Level 1 Trauma OR experience – Preferred

  • Skills:

    • Must be able to circulate independently (scrubbing ability also required)

  • Certifications:

    • BLS (AHA) – Required

    • ACLS (AHA) – Required
