Position Overview

Gray Matters Counseling Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Telehealth Mental Health Counselor to provide comprehensive mental health services within our remote workforce. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical evaluations to assess client needs and circumstances. This includes gathering detailed personal histories and diagnostic information to inform treatment strategies.
  • Design and implement individualized care plans that incorporate tailored therapeutic approaches, including, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based methods.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Regularly participate in case reviews with colleagues to discuss patient progress and collaborate on best practices for therapeutic intervention.
  • Assist clients and their families by providing education on mental health issues and facilitating access to community resources, support groups, and additional services.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and developments in the mental health field to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client caseload will be diverse, encompassing individuals with various diagnoses, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and more. You will work with clients from various backgrounds, each requiring a compassionate and tailored approach to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • An active professional license in the state of Arizona (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) is essential.
  • Exemplary problem-solving capabilities and strong interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of trusting relationships with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health setting, applying therapeutic modalities effectively for a variety of clinical issues.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, particularly experience with telehealth services and technology would be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
