Job description

Must have:
  • Degree in computer science or a related IT discipline. (> 5 years experience)
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business users and IT technical teams.
  • Experience with Azure integration tools such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
  • Solid experience working with Azure Databricks, Data Lake, and programming languages like Python are essential.
  • Good experience with Microsoft Azure data store/management technologies, including data stores like Azure SQL, Synapse, and Data Lake.
  • Skilled in analytical and data visualization tools and methodologies.
  • Recent experience with Microsoft Power BI, including reporting, analytics, and administration, as well as enterprise data warehouses/marts and dimensional data modelling (star schema).
  • Collaborating with BI developers to guide and enhance data management and analytical solutions.
  • Experience supporting Power BI solutions, assisting in the development of internal PBI dashboards and reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly and work independently.
  • Creating comprehensive documentation.

Nice to have:
  • Experience with data governance and administration related to self-service Power BI.
  • Enhancing governance processes for self-service Power BI, data quality, and standard operating procedures.
  • Knowledge of master/meta data management and tools such as Collibra.
  • Business Requirements Identification and Analysis Skills without needing handholding
