Senior Power Platform Developer
Role: Lead architecture and development across Power BI and Power Apps, establish reusable platform patterns, review technical work, and provide backup coverage across dashboard and application development. The PWS requires role-based Power BI dashboards using GCSS-Army and G4 data, as well as production-ready Power Apps integrated with Azure, Army 365, dashboards, reports, and data models.
Requirements:
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Advanced Power BI development.
  • Production Power Apps and Power Automate experience.
  • Strong DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data-modeling skills.
  • Experience delivering role-based applications or dashboards to production.
  • Experience with Power Platform security and deployment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may substitute.
  • Six or more years in BI, analytics, application development, or Power Platform delivery.
  • Four or more years developing Power BI solutions.
  • Two or more years developing Power Apps and Power Automate workflows.
  • Experience with:
    • DAX.
    • Power Query/M.
    • Dimensional and semantic modeling.
    • Row-level security.
    • Role-based dashboards.
    • Data refresh and gateways.
    • Canvas or model-driven Power Apps.
    • Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, or approved connectors.
    • Power Platform solution packaging and deployment.
  • Experience conducting requirements sessions, demonstrations, iterative reviews, and user acceptance.

Strong preferences
  • Microsoft Government tenant, Army 365, GCC High, or classified Power Platform experience.
  • Power BI deployment pipelines and application lifecycle management.
  • Power Platform Center of Excellence or governance experience.
  • Accessibility and Section 508 testing.
  • GCSS-Army, SAP, logistics, maintenance, supply, readiness, ammunition, or financial dashboards.
  • Azure services, API integration, custom connectors, or Azure Functions.
  • PL-300, PL-400, PL-600, or comparable Microsoft certification.

Principal responsibilities
  • Establish Power BI and Power Apps technical patterns for the program.
  • Design semantic models and reusable business measures.
  • Develop complex DAX, transformations, security rules, and data connections.
  • Develop or review Canvas and model-driven Power Apps.
  • Develop Power Automate workflows and approval paths.
  • Integrate Power Platform products with Azure and Army data sources.
  • Implement role-based access and security.
  • Review work produced by the Power BI Developer and Power Apps/QA Developer.
  • Establish development, test, and production promotion procedures.
  • Support dashboard and application sustainment.
  • Prepare technical documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.
Location and Work Expectations:
  • Ability to work remotely during normal Government working hours and participate in daily status, requirements, development, and technical-review sessions.
  • Ability to travel to Fort Lee, Virginia, at least three times annually and report onsite more frequently if directed.
