Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and emotional wellbeing, utilizing both standardized tools and subjective reports.
  • Develop and implement tailored, evidence-based treatment plans addressing the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Facilitate various therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, family counseling, and group therapy sessions, fostering diversity in approach to meet client needs.
  • Monitor and track clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies based on shared feedback and ongoing evaluations.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, offering timely support and guidance to clients experiencing acute distress.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to comply with ethical and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care and enhance the overall therapeutic process.
  • Stay apprised of advancements in mental health research and therapeutic modalities, integrating new evidence into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
  • Possession of current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW).
