Job description

Automation Tester

Location: Tempe, AZ / Remote 6 months Contract Salary: DOE $/day

US Citizen and Green Card H4-EAD only No third Party

Responsibilities:

Will be responsible for automation in testing APIs. Testing cutting edge APIs and microservices at the user level and code level Testing developer UI portal for APIs Be able to understand the software internals, debug issues, and write automated tests with scripting and automation tools Be individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to end with minimal assistance Assist in implementing and maintaining a Continuous Integration Solution Contribute and/or own the development of high quality test automation. You will ensure comprehensive test coverage by working closely with the product and engineering teams to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results. You will participate in design and specification reviews, and use this information to design test plans. You will promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices.

Required Skills:

Experience in Java Web service testing (SOAP/REST) Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools Experience with RestAssured or similar automation testing frameworks Experience with web service technology like XML, REST, SOAP Experience with UI testing frameworks Selenium
