Pay Range $191,101.21 - $216,581.37 AnnuallyPosition SummaryBase-2 Solutions is seeking an Agile Developer 3 responsible for the full-stack development of cloud-based applications and microservices. This role supports application development, API and datastore integration, software modernization, and team leadership in an Agile environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform full-stack development of cloud-based applications and microservices.
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
- Debug existing software and correct defects.
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
- Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
- Provide recommendations to improve documentation and software development process standards.
- Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
- Write or review software and system documentation.
- Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, system flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process used on the project.
- Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.
- Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models.
- Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces and queries.
Required Qualifications- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, with a CI Polygraph within the last 7 years.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- 9 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript frameworks such as React, GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, and modern datastores including NoSQL, relational, and object stores.
- Demonstrated full-stack development experience across front-end, APIs, and backing datastores.
- Demonstrated experience with Spring Boot microservices, 12-Factor applications, JSON and/or BSON serialization, and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications- Familiarity with Spring, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Swagger, and AWS managed services.
- Familiarity with system requirements decomposition, release planning, CI/CD, test frameworks and automation, Agile methodology, and FOSS/GOTS.
