Job description

We are looking for a Caregiver with HCA located in San Fernando Valley area to start ASAP!

New Locations: Northridge, Granada Hills, North Hills, Sylmar, Porter Ranch

This is a Part-Time hourly position to provide in-home care and assistance to elderly individuals in CA. This position provides but is not limited to companionship, light housekeeping duties, transportation, meal preparation, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, toileting, dressing etc...
Compensation and Benefits: 

The compensation for this role is $18 to $21 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include accrued paid sick days, flexible hours, career advancement training, and Caregiver appreciation activities.
Responsibilities:

Companionship and conversation, light housekeeping, apparel selection (laying out clothes), household management, errands, meal planning and prep, laundry and linen changing, medication reminders, transportation and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as bathing, toileting, and assist with mobility.  In overnight situations prep sleeping area.     

Other Responsibilities include: Documenting activities in the Care Plan Binder, record daily hours worked and daily services performed, report any significant changes with client to office immediately, follow all policies and procedures as described in the Senior Helpers Handbook.  

Qualifications:

Must treat clients with dignity and respect, must be able to read, write and speak English at an average adult level, must be willing to submit to background check per California state law, must obtain TB testing prior to engaging with clients, and must be able to drive and have a valid CA driver's license.  Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted.
