Job description

What makes this role important at Ipsos? 

This open position is working on market research studies for clients in the private sector, collaborating with a project team working on data collection, data processing, and analysis of results. Client deliverables include data tables, data files, reports in Word and PowerPoint, webinars and telephone presentations.   

What you can expect to be doing: 

  • Making projects happen: Coordinating and managing survey research projects on time and on budget, working closely with our colleagues in other departments. 
  • Getting into the client's business: Developing an understanding of our clients' business issues including evaluating communication effectiveness, concept testing, touchpoint evaluation, and trade-off analysis.  
  • Help the business grow: Engage with clients to suggest solutions to their problems and collaborate with colleagues to produce winning proposals. 
  • Set the stage for your promotion: Bring creativity and insights to clients in identifying and solving business challenges, generate new and repeat business, and manage and develop colleagues doing those tasks. 

 

This might be the job for you if you have: 

  • You are curious - you don't like leaving questions unanswered, and no one needs to tell you to go look for new information that will help you better meet our clients' needs. 
  • You have at least 4 years of experience in the market research sector.  
  • You have a degree in the social sciences or a quantitatively-oriented field, preferably at the Master's level. 
  • You have a strong attention to detail, and to getting things right. 
  • You can coordinate the work of a large team, keeping everyone "in the loop" on changes that will affect their part of the process  
  • You like the idea of working with companies and government agencies to improve their customers' experiences. 
  • You have a strong working proficiency with MS Office (specifically MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel). 
  • You have experience in working with data in Excel and/or Access.  
  • Knowledge of quantitative analysis packages, especially SPSS and/or SAS is a plus. 
  • Due to contractual obligations, candidates must be US citizens.

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $95,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
