Apple's Market Research and Analytics team, part of Worldwide Product Marketing, is looking for a survey data analyst to provide critical customer insights that will shape our product and marketing strategies. We're looking for a practitioner who is an expert in analytics and data science, understands innovative research methodologies, and has extensive experience translating complex data into clear business insights. If you have a passion for understanding consumer behavior and a proven track record of using data to solve business problems, we want to hear from you.
Description
We're looking for an experienced Market Research Analyst to lead quantitative and qualitative research that shapes product, pricing, and portfolio decisions for one of our most important product lines. In this role, you'll design and execute advanced quantitative studies, translate complex data into clear narratives, and present findings directly to senior leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in quantitative market research, on either the client side or vendor/analytics side, including direct experience presenting findings to senior stakeholders or clients
Demonstrated hands-on experience designing and executing segmentation, price sensitivity, conjoint, and/or DCM studies
Strong quantitative research and experimental (QRE) design skills, including questionnaire design, sampling, and statistical analysis
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis
Global experience is a must, expertise in emerging market research is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Experience researching consumer technology or hardware products (e.g., smartphones, consumer electronics)
Familiarity with additional coding/analytics tools and languages beyond Python (e.g., R, SQL)
Experience using AI tools to build dashboards, automate analysis, or enhance data visualization
Strong storytelling and executive presentation skills, with a track record of influencing senior decision-makers
Experience managing research vendors/agencies or leading studies independently end-to-end
Advanced degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, or a related quantitative field
Experience with advanced statistical/analytical software (e.g., Sawtooth, Q, SPSS, R)
Experience working cross-functionally with product marketing, product management, and finance teams
