Sitting at the intersection of research execution and business operations, you will streamline workflows, manage a suite of external research vendors, and coordinate mandated research projects to deliver timely, actionable insights that help improve the consumer experience.
Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance & Legal Governance: Manage and implement departmental workflows that fulfill all legal, compliance, and regulatory mandates associated with healthcare consumer research.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Serve as the primary relationship manager for the department's research vendors. Own end-to-end vendor operations, including onboarding, contract management, performance evaluation, and daily liaison duties.
  • Operations & Project Tracking: Evaluate and streamline department operations by tracking ongoing research projects, managing intake pipelines, and reporting key performance metrics.
  • Tools & Platform Administration: Maintain internal operational tools for data integrity, including compliance tracking systems, shared document repositories, and the team SharePoint site.
  • Research Collaboration: Assist senior researchers on the team with the logistics and execution of larger, more complex custom market research initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Market Research, Data Analytics, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Research Project Management: 3+ years of experience managing complex market research projects from initial conception through execution and final delivery.
  • Vendor Management: 3+ years of experience managing external research vendors, including contract coordination, performance tracking, and vendor evaluations.
  • Healthcare Compliance: 3+ years of experience navigating strict legal, compliance, and regulatory frameworks specific to healthcare or health insurance research.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to balance multiple, complex stakeholder requirements while delivering projects on time and within budget.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Government-Mandated Research: Direct experience handling CMS-mandated research requirements or CAHPS (Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) surveys.
  • Methodology Depth: A strong foundational market research background encompassing a variety of qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
  • Diverse Audiences: Experience designing or coordinating research tailored to diverse demographic groups, including multicultural, low-income, or disabled populations.
  • Industry Domain: Previous experience working directly within the health insurance or healthcare payer industry.
