  • Plan, coordinate, execute, and document software test events in lab, hardware-in-the-loop, and operationally relevant environments.
  • Support software unit testing, software integration testing, system-level testing, regression testing, verification and validation, and acceptance testing.
  • Develop and review test objectives, test procedures, test cases, test scripts, data collection plans, test reports, and software assessment products.
  • Verify that software test results comply with approved test requirements, acceptance criteria, operational needs, and customer-defined performance expectations.
  • Perform traceability analysis between requirements, test cases, test procedures, test execution results, and documented findings.
  • Support evaluation of Government Furnished Code, Government Furnished Information, contractor-developed software, and private software products used in CUAS test environments.
  • Assist with software-based test and evaluation, quality assurance, requirements documentation, lab testing, demonstrations, and improvements to field test software.
  • Support configuration, operation, and maintenance of operational software lab environments used to evaluate CUAS capabilities.
  • Assist with standing up and maintaining representative lab environments, including software builds, test tools, data collection systems, interfaces, networked test assets, and hardware-in-the-loop configurations.
  • Support hardware-in-the-loop testing to evaluate software performance, system response, RF characteristics, output timing, mission behavior, and CUAS effectiveness.
  • Identify software anomalies, data gaps, regression issues, integration problems, test limitations, and operational impacts.
  • Document software deficiencies, test observations, corrective actions, retest results, and engineering recommendations.
  • Coordinate with software developers, systems engineers, RF engineers, cybersecurity personnel, test directors, configuration managers, and Government leads to resolve issues and support test readiness.
