Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach / Personal Trainer to lead our second location inside a state of the art tennis facility. You will perform fitness assessments, develop training plans, and provide education on how to use gym equipment safely. Your primary goals are to help develop and deliver the strength & conditioning program for tennis academy athletes. The ideal candidate is a great teacher with a passion for fitness, knowledge of the physical demands of tennis, and the ability to work with kids and teens ages 8-18. It is equally important that you are able to sell your services to parents of athletes and other members of the tennis center. 
Responsibilities 
  • Perform fitness assessments to understand each client’s current fitness level
  • Run strength and conditioning classes
  • Perform assisted table stretches
  • Create individualized workout plans and training routines and revise them periodically
  • Demonstrate proper techniques for using machines and equipment
  • Ensure that all gym safety standards and procedures are followed
  • Respond to clients in a timely manner
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Current personal trainer or fitness instructor certification
  • Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred 
  • First aid and CPR-certified
  • Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Tennis experience a plus
  • NSCA Certified strength & conditioning specialist is a huge plus
